How to activate two-factor authentication (2FA)

  1. Log in to your account as usual.

  2. You get prompted to secure your account with two-factor authentication either via a recovery email address or phone number.

  3. Enter the code received via email or SMS.

  4. On your smartphone, open your authenticator app (like Authy, Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, andOTP, etc.) and scan the QR code.

  1. Go to the upper-right menu and click on Change password.

  2. In the left menu, click on Authenticator.

  3. Click on Activate.

  4. Choose an email address (must differ from your account's email) or a phone number as recovery channel.

  5. Enter the validation code then click Verify code to confirm the chosen recovery channel.

  6. On your smartphone, open your authenticator app (like Authy, Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, andOTP, etc.) and scan the QR code.

Activating two-factor authentication means you'll need a second authentication on top of your password to log in to your account. This helps keep your account and personal information secure from hackers.

Activate 2FA via your account settings

If you ever want to remove 2FA, simply click on Deactivate.
