What's Synqup?
Synqup is a Windows service that works in the background on your server. The service takes up your invoices in digital format from Banqup and places them on the server at a location (access path) of your choice.
2. Configuring Synqup
Before you begin
Do you have several Banqup companies you want to connect via Synqup with your accounting software?
Skip the steps below and contact <local support email address>.
Do you only have one business? You can continue without contacting us.
Invoice delivery location
Log on to the server and create a new folder to a location of your choice. For example:
"Banqup Synqup" in c:\billtobox_synqup\
This is the location where invoices will be delivered.
Note: the Synqup service can only write on local discs and therefore not on virtual discs. The most frequent local discs are C: and D:
Configuration and installation of Synqup
- Log in to Banqup
- Go to the Apps menu
- Activate the Accounting app
- Activate Synqup
- Choose I'm a self-booker
- Create a new accounting software
- Click on Next
- You can now set up the accounting app.
Setting up the access paths
You should have the paths on which invoices must be delivered to the server. Otherwise, you can decide with your IT partner which path you need to enter below.
After following the steps described above, you will see the following fields:
- Path for INBOUND invoices: this is where your accounts payable will be stored on the server.
- Path for OUTBOUND invoices: this is where your accounts receivable will be stored on the server.
- Path for Statement files: this is where your statement files (coda) will be stored on the server.
Examples
C:\Banqup_Synqup\entreprise_numeroTVA\achats
C:\Banqup_Synqup\entreprise_numeroTVA\ventes
C:\Banqup_Synqup\entreprise_numeroTVA\coda
When the paths are defined, click Save and the configuration of the accounting software is complete.
Finish the activation.
3. Installing Synqup on your server
Synqup is now configured on Banqup. Your IT partner must now install the Synqup Windows service on your server. Send your computer partner the following link to install Synqup on the server:

Your IT partner will need your credentials.
When Synqup is also installed on the server, the link is fully configured.
