The Doc Center is used to store your documents that are not invoices or credit notes and organize them as you wish, in the Console.
Here's what you can do in the Doc Center:
- Store your files privately (accountant files)
- Create folders and subfolders individually for each customer
- Upload documents
- Open documents
- Move documents to a different folder
- Move documents to a different folder
How to go to the Console's Doc Center
- Go to Documents.
- Click on the Doc Center tab.
Store your files privately in files of accountant
The Files of Accountant lets you store personal files in the Doc Center. Those files will only be visible to the Console user who uploaded them. The client and other Console users will not see them.
Create folders and subfolders
- Select a customer
- Click on Create new folder
- Name your folder
Upload documents
Drag and drop your files to the window (or click the Upload button to open the files explorer).
Open documents
- Select a document.
- Click on Open.
- The document opens in a new tab.
Move documents to a different folder
- Select the document(s) you want to move.
- Click on Move.
- Go to the folder where you want to move your document(s).
- Click on Paste.
Move documents to a different client
- Select the document(s) you want to move.
- Click on Move.
- Next to Selected client, click on the current client to open the dropdown menu and choose to which client to move the document(s).
- Go to the folder where you want to move your document(s).
- Click on Paste.
